     Ada Sophia Dendy was the daughter of Robert Dendy.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Ribton Gore, son of Venerable John Ribton Gore and Frances Brabazon Ellard, on 24 November 1881.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. A. Mackenzie-Penderel on 5 May 1930.1 She died on 14 November 1944.1
     From 24 November 1881, her married name became Gore.1 From 5 May 1930, her married name became Mackenzie-Penderel.1

     Lady Isabel Seton was born on 30 November 1593. She was the daughter of Robert Seton, 1st Earl of Winton and Lady Margaret Montgomerie.1,2 She married, firstly, James Drummond, 1st Earl of Perth, son of Patrick Drummond, 3rd Lord Drummond and Lady Elizabeth Lindsay, on 19 April 1606.3 She married, secondly, Francis Stewart, Master of Bothwell, son of Francis Stewart, 1st and last Earl of Bothwell and Lady Margaret Douglas, on 2 August 1614.1
     After her marriage, Lady Isabel Seton was styled as Countess of Perth on 19 April 1606. From 19 April 1606, her married name became Drummond.3 From 2 August 1614, her married name became Stewart.

     Francis Stewart, Master of Bothwell was born in 1584.1 He was the son of Francis Stewart, 1st and last Earl of Bothwell and Lady Margaret Douglas.1 He married Lady Isabel Seton, daughter of Robert Seton, 1st Earl of Winton and Lady Margaret Montgomerie, on 2 August 1614.1 He died in 1639.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 21 April 1640.1
     He was styled as Master of Bothwell.
     He had three other surviving sons and one illegitimate son.2

     Alan Cathcart, 5th Lord Cathcart was born circa 1600.1 He was the son of Alan Cathcart, Master of Cathcart and Isabel Kennedy.2 He married, firstly, Lady Margaret Stewart, daughter of Francis Stewart, 1st and last Earl of Bothwell and Lady Margaret Douglas, circa August 1621.1 He married, secondly, Jean Colquhoun, daughter of Sir Alexander Colquhoun of Luss and Helen Buchanan, on 29 October 1626.1 He died on 18 August 1628 at Auchencruive, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.1,3
     He matriculated at University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG, on 3 April 1615.3 He succeeded as the 5th Lord Cathcart [S., c. 1452] in December 1618.1

     John Maitland, 1st Lord Maitland of Thirlestane was born circa 1545.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Maitland, Lord Lethington and Mary Cranston.1 He married Jean Fleming, daughter of James Fleming, 4th Lord Fleming and Lady Barbara Hamilton, circa 16 January 1582/83.2 He died on 3 October 1595.1 He was buried at Haddington, East Lothian, ScotlandG.2
     He was educated at St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, ScotlandG.1 He was educated at FranceG.1 He held the office of Keeper of the Privy Seal [Scotland] in 1567.1 He held the office of Lord of Sessions between 1568 and 1571.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] from January 1567/68 to October 1569.1 He held the office of Lord of Sessions between 1581 and 1587.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)      John Maitland, 1st Earl of Lauderdale was the son of John Maitland, 1st Lord Maitland of Thirlestane and Jean Fleming.1 He married Lady Isabel Seton, daughter of Alexander Seton, 1st Earl of Dunfermline and Lilias Drummond, before 18 June 1610.2 He died on 18 January 1644/45.2

     Andrew Hay, 8th Earl of Erroll was the son of George Hay, 7th Earl of Erroll and Margaret Robertson.1 He married, firstly, Lady Jean Hay, daughter of William Hay, 6th Earl of Erroll and Lady Helen Stuart, circa 16 June 1552.1 He married, secondly, Lady Agnes Sinclair, daughter of George Sinclair, 4th Earl of Caithness and Lady Elizabeth Graham, circa 20 September 1581.1 He died on 8 October 1585.1
     He succeeded as the 9th Lord Hay [S., 1430] on 30 January 1573/74.1 He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Erroll [S., 1452] on 30 January 1573/74.1 In 1576 at Slains CastleG he was imprisoned by his brother, Laurence Hay.1
