Eleanor Phoebe Chance was the daughter of Sir James Timmins Chance, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Ferguson.2 She married Reverend William Campbell Riland-Bedford, son of Reverend William Kirkpatrick Riland-Bedford and Maria Amy Houson, on 5 December 1877.1 She died on 15 September 1928, leaving issue.1
