     He was Camden Professor of Ancient History at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1

     Pamela Abbott Lacon was born on 15 January 1912.1 She was the daughter of Gordon Massy Lacon and Phyllis Woodfall.2 She married, firstly, John Edward Hodgson, son of Gerald Hodgson, on 26 September 1936.1 She and John Edward Hodgson were divorced in 1946.1 She married, secondly, W/Cdr. Philip S. Gage on 27 August 1949.1 She died on 27 September 2005 at age 93.3
     From 26 September 1936, her married name became Hodgson. From 27 August 1949, her married name became Gage.1
