Sir William Jonathan Frederick North, 2nd Bt. was born on 6 February 1931.2 He was the son of Hon. John Montagu William North and Muriel Norton Hicking.2 He married Sara Virignia Hardman, daughter of Air Chief Marshal Sir James Donald Innes Hardman and Dorothy Thompson, on 19 October 1956.2 He died on 25 February 2018 at age 87.3
Sir William Jonathan Frederick North, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Jonathan.1 He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hicking, of Southwell and Brackenhurst, co. Nottingham [U.K., 1920] on 18 April 1947.1 He lived in 2003 at Frogmore, Weston-under-Penyard, Herefordshire, England.2
