Donald Cameron of Lochiel, 15th Chief of Clan Cameron was the son of Donald Cameron of Lochiel, younger and Agnes Grant.2 He married unknown daughter Maclean, daughter of Hector 'Mor' Maclean, 8th of Duart and Morvern and Mary Macdonald.1 He died after 29 June 1565, without issue.1
He held the position of 15th Chief of the Clan Cameron from between 1552 and 1554.1 On 6 March 1564 he was confirmed by Queen Mary of Scots in Lochiel and his other lands.1

Allan Cameron of Lochiel, 16th Chief of Clan Cameron was born circa 1567/68.1 He was the son of John Cameron and unknown daughter Mackintosh.2 He married unknown daughter Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 4th of Appin and unknown daughter Macdonald.1 He died circa 1647.1
He held the office of Chief of the Clan Cameron, 16th.1 He succeeded as Chief of the Clan as minor, hence was for a while under care of his aunt.1 He fought in the Battle of Glenlivet on 3 October 1594, where he joined his fellow-rebel 1st Marquess of Huntly in defeating King James VI, and lost part of his estates when King James VI reasserted himself.1
