     Harry Gurney Buxton was born on 23 June 1871.¹ He was the son of Samuel Gurney Buxton and Louisa Caroline Hoare.² He married Evelyn Musgrave Harvey, daughter of Richard Musgrave Harvey, on 30 April 1910.¹ He died on 6 August 1936 at age 65.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the 9th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.¹

     Evelyn Musgrave Harvey was the daughter of Richard Musgrave Harvey.² She married Harry Gurney Buxton, son of Samuel Gurney Buxton and Louisa Caroline Hoare, on 30 April 1910.¹ She died on 24 December 1953.¹
     From 30 April 1910, her married name became Buxton.

     Grizell Evelyn Buxton was born on 18 July 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Harry Gurney Buxton and Evelyn Musgrave Harvey.² She married Venerable Edwin James Greenfield Ward, son of Reverend Frederick Greenfield Ward, on 4 September 1946.¹ She died in 1985.³
     She gained the rank of Junior Commander in the Auxiliary Territorial Service, during the Second World War.¹ From 4 September 1946, her married name became Ward.

     Reverend Frederick Greenfield Ward was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He lived at North Elmham, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Venerable Edwin James Greenfield Ward was born on 26 October 1919.² He was the son of Reverend Frederick Greenfield Ward.³ He married Grizell Evelyn Buxton, daughter of Harry Gurney Buxton and Evelyn Musgrave Harvey, on 4 September 1946.¹ He died on 22 November 2005 at age 86.²
     He was educated at St. John's School, Leatherhead, Surrey, England^G.² He graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He fought in the Second World War, in the King's Dragoon Guards.² He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹ He was the Vicar between 1950 and 1955 at North Elmham, Norfolk, England^G.² He held the office of Chaplain to HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1955.¹ He was the Chaplain between 1955 and 1967 at Royal Chapel, Windsor Great Park, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He held the office of Archdeacon of Sherborne.¹ He was appointed Lieutenant, Royal Victorian Order (L.V.O.) in 1963.² He was the Rector between 1967 and 1984 at West Stafford, Dorset, England^G.²

     Simon Andrew Buxton Ward was born on 11 June 1952.¹ He is the son of Venerable Edwin James Greenfield Ward and Grizell Evelyn Buxton.²
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Joanna Grizelda Ward was born on 6 October 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Venerable Edwin James Greenfield Ward and Grizell Evelyn Buxton.²

     Alison Bridget Ward was born on 25 January 1950.¹ She is the daughter of Venerable Edwin James Greenfield Ward and Grizell Evelyn Buxton.² She married John Wakeham, Baron Wakeham, son of Major Walter John Wakeham and E. R. Webb, in 1985.¹
     From 1985, her married name became Wakeham.¹ She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)³
