     Matilda J. Peterson was born on 18 January 1889 at Timaru, New Zealand^G.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Peterson.¹ She married Edmund Cecil Brabant, son of Herbert William Brabant and Rosetta Johnston, on 29 August 1910 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹ She died after 1948.¹
     From 29 August 1910, her married name became Brabant.¹
