     He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He emigrated to New Zealand^G arriving on 1859 on board the Joseph Fletcher.² He held the office of Judge of the Native Land Court of New Zealand.¹ He lived in 1891 at St. John's, Wanganui, New Zealand^G.¹
