John George Buchan-Hepburn was born on 24 September 1841.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Buchan-Hepburn of Smeaton Hepburn, 3rd Bt. and Helen Little.1 He died in February 1883 at age 41 at Pinos Altos, MexicoG, killed by a party of miners.1

Robert Villiers was born circa 1656.2 He was the son of Robert Danvers and Elizabeth Danvers.1 He married Lady Margaret Bourke, daughter of Ulrick Bourke, 1st Marquess of Clanricarde and Lady Anne Compton, in 1676.2 He died circa 1684.1

Robert Danvers was born illegitimately circa 1621.1,2 He was the son of Sir Robert Howard and Frances Coke.1,2 He married Elizabeth Danvers, daughter of Sir John Danvers and Elizabeth Dauntsey.3 He died circa 1674.2
He was also known as Robert Wright.1 He was also known as Robert Villiers.1 In 1658 he disclaimed any right to the title of his nominal father, John Villiers, 1st Viscount Purbeck.2 In 1660 he was declard by the House of Lords to be Viscount Purbeck.2 In 1678 he was declard by the House of Lords to have been illegitimate, and therefore not entitled to the viscountancy.2

Sir Ninian Buchan Archibald John Buchan-Hepburn of Smeaton Hepburn, 6th Bt. was born on 8 October 1922.1 He was the son of Sir John Karslake Thomas Buchan-Hepburn of Smeaton Hepburn, 5th Bt. and Jessie Lawrence Smith.1 He married, firstly, Bridget Greig, daughter of G/Capt. Sir Louis Greig and Phyllis Scrimgeour, on 7 October 1958.1 He married, secondly, Mary Angela Scott, daughter of Thomas Ian Scott, in 1991.1 He died on 22 February 1992 at age 69, without issue.1,2
He was educated at Canford School, Wimborne, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. He fought in the Second World War, in India and Burma.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Buchan-Hepburn [U.K., 1815] on 8 February 1961.1
