Sir George Broun of Colstoun, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Patrick Broun of Colstoun, 1st Bt.1 He married Lady Elizabeth Mackenzie, daughter of George Mackenzie of Tarbat, 1st Earl of Cromarty and Anne Sinclair, in 1692.1,2 He died in 1718, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Broun, of Coulston, co. Haddington [N.S., 1686] in 1688.1
