     Hon. William Edward FitzMaurice was born on 21 March 1805.² He was the son of John Hamilton FitzMaurice, Viscount Kirkwall and Hon. Anna Maria de Blaquiere.² He married, firstly, Hester Harford, daughter of Henry Harford, on 3 August 1837.² He married, secondly, Anne Louisa Hatton, daughter of John Hatton, on 3 October 1870.² He died on 18 June 1889 at age 84.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the 2nd Life Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Denbighshire Yeomanry Cavalry.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Buckinghamshire between 1842 and 1847.¹

     Hester Harford was the daughter of Henry Harford.¹ She married Hon. William Edward FitzMaurice, son of John Hamilton FitzMaurice, Viscount Kirkwall and Hon. Anna Maria de Blaquiere, on 3 August 1837.¹ She died on 24 August 1859.¹
     From 3 August 1837, her married name became FitzMaurice.¹

     Anne Louisa Hatton is the daughter of John Hatton.¹ She married Hon. William Edward FitzMaurice, son of John Hamilton FitzMaurice, Viscount Kirkwall and Hon. Anna Maria de Blaquiere, on 3 October 1870.¹
     From 3 October 1870, her married name became FitzMaurice.¹

     John Hatton lived at Deal, Kent, England.²

     Harriett Thomas married Captain James FitzMaurice, son of Harman FitzMaurice and Maria Evans, on 28 November 1814.¹
     From 28 November 1814, her married name became FitzMaurice.¹

     Gerald Fitzmaurice was born in 1842 at County Laois, Ireland^G.¹ He was the son of Captain James FitzMaurice and Harriett Thomas.¹ He married Lucilla Amelia Smith, daughter of Robert Smith and Mary Ann Homes, on 17 March 1877 at Registry Office, Wellington, New Zealand^G.¹ He died on 8 April 1893 at Lower Hutt, New Zealand^G.¹ He was buried on 10 April 1893 at St. James Church, Lower Hutt, New Zealand^G.¹
     On 21 February 1864 at Rangiwahia, New Zealand^G, he came under fire during the Maori Wars.¹ He was awarded the New Zealand Medal.¹

     Major Harman FitzMaurice was born in 1820.¹ He was the son of Captain James FitzMaurice and Harriett Thomas.¹ He married, firstly, Frances FitzMaurice, daughter of William Raymond FitzMaurice and Ann Frances Hodson, on 29 April 1862 at Killeshin Parish Church, Killeshin, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹ He married, secondly, Helena FitzMaurice, daughter of Arthur FitzMaurice and Frances Cary, on 6 September 1876 at St. Anne's Church, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹ He died on 4 April 1908 at Crossleigh^G.¹ He was buried at Killeshin Parish Church, Killeshin, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹

     Raymond FitzMaurice was born circa 1839 at Ireland^G.¹ He was the son of Captain James FitzMaurice and Harriett Thomas.¹ He married Sarah Georgina Lynn on 20 February 1879 at Blacks Point, Reefton, New Zealand^G.¹ He died on 11 October 1899 at Blacks Point, Reefton, New Zealand^G.¹ He was buried on 13 October 1899 at Burkes Creek Cemetery, Reefton, New Zealand^G.¹
     He emigrated to Hokitika, New Zealand^G, on board Alhambra, departed from Melbourne on 6 September 1866.¹ He was a miner.¹
