John Hervey was born on 18 August 1616.2 He was the son of Sir William Hervey and Susan Jermyn.1,2 He married Elizabeth Hervey, daughter of Henry Hervey, 1st and last Baron Hervey of Kidbrooke.1 He died on 18 January 1679 at age 62, without issue.2

Thomas Darcy, 1st Earl Rivers was born circa 1565.2 He was the son of John Darcy, 2nd Baron Darcy of Chiche and Frances Rich.2,3 He married Mary Kitson, daughter of Sir Thomas Kitson and Lady Elizabeth Cornwallis. He died on 25 February 1639/40, without surviving male issue.4
He was created 1st Viscount Colchester [England] on 5 July 1621. He was created 1st Earl Rivers [England] on 4 November 1626.
