     Nicholas William Bethell, 4th Baron Bethell was born on 19 July 1938.1 He was the son of Hon. William Gladstone Bethell and Ann Margaret Frances Barlow.1 He married, firstly, Cecilia Mary Lothian Honeyman, daughter of Professor Alexander Mackie Honeyman, on 7 April 1964.1 He and Cecilia Mary Lothian Honeyman were divorced in 1971.1 He married, secondly, Bryony Lea Griffiths, daughter of Brian David Griffiths, in 1992.1 He died on 8 September 2007 at age 69.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Bethell [U.K., 1911] on 2 December 1967.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Bethell, of Romford, co. Essex [U.K., 1922] on 2 December 1967.1 He wrote the book Gomulka: His Poland and his Communism, published 1969.3 He held the office of a Lord-in-Waiting between 1970 and 1971.3 He wrote the book The War Hitler Won, published 1972.3 He wrote the book The Last Secret, published 1974.3 He wrote the book Russia Besieged, published 1977.3 He wrote the book The Palestine Triangle, published 1979.3 He wrote the book The Great Betrayal, published 1984.3 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1987 with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)3 He was awarded the Commander's Cross, Order of Merit of Poland in 1991.3 He was awarded the Presidential Award in 1992 Russian.3 He wrote the book Spies and Other Secrets, published 1994.3 He lived in 2003 at Manor Farm, Oakley Road, Brill, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.3

     Cecilia Mary Lothian Honeyman was the daughter of Professor Alexander Mackie Honeyman.1 She married Nicholas William Bethell, 4th Baron Bethell, son of Hon. William Gladstone Bethell and Ann Margaret Frances Barlow, on 7 April 1964.1 She and Nicholas William Bethell, 4th Baron Bethell were divorced in 1971.1 She died in 1977.1
     From 7 April 1964, her married name became Bethell.1 After her marriage, Cecilia Mary Lothian Honeyman was styled as Baroness Bethell on 2 December 1967.

     Mungo Murray, 2nd Viscount of Stormont was born in 1580.2 He was the son of John Murray, 1st Earl of Tullibardine and Catherine Drummond.2 He married, firstly, Anne Murray, daughter of Sir Andrew Murray of Balvaird and Arngask and Margaret Crichton, before 30 May 1606.1 He married, secondly, Lady Anne Wemyss, daughter of John Wemyss, 1st Earl of Wemyss and Jean Gray, circa 18 October 1639.1 He died before 11 March 1641/42, without legitimate issue.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1607.1 He gained the rank of Cornet between 1607 and 1611 in the King's Guards.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Perthshire in 1627.1 He held the office of Gentleman of the Privy Chamber in 1628.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount of Stormont [S., 1621] on 27 August 1631.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Scone [S., 1604] on 27 August 1631.1
