     John Hanson Berney was born on 22 November 1868.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Hanson Berney, 9th Bt. and Jane Dorothea Bloxam.¹ He married Margaret George, daughter of Sinclair George, in April 1900.¹ He died on 26 May 1959 at age 90.¹
