     Vice-Admiral Sir Henry Loraine Baker, 2nd Bt. was born on 3 January 1787 at Nancy, France^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Baker, 1st Bt. and Dinah Hayley.¹ He married Louisa Anne Williams, daughter of William Williams and Anne Rashleigh, on 27 June 1820.¹ He died on 2 November 1859 at age 72 at Dunstable House, Richmond, Surrey, England^G.¹
     He gained the rank of Midshipman in 1797 in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the storming of Sumana, Santo Domingo in 1807.¹ He fought in the defense of Anholt in 1811, where he was promoted for his conduct.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 4 June 1815.¹ He gained the rank of Captain on 13 June 1815 in the Royal Navy.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Baker, of Dunstable House, Richmond, Surrey [G.B., 1796] on 4 February 1826.¹ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral on 6 November 1850.¹ He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral on 9 July 1857.¹

     Robert Baker was born on 13 November 1785.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Baker, 1st Bt. and Dinah Hayley.¹ He died in June 1802 at age 16, unmarried.¹

     Louisa Anne Williams was born on 4 March 1801.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Williams and Anne Rashleigh.¹ She married Vice-Admiral Sir Henry Loraine Baker, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Baker, 1st Bt. and Dinah Hayley, on 27 June 1820.¹ She died on 12 September 1861 at age 60 at Dunstable House, Richmond, Surrey, England^G.¹
     From 27 June 1820, her married name became Baker.¹

     William Williams held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Weymouth.² He lived at Castle Hall, Dorset, England^G.¹

     Anne Rashleigh was baptised on 12 September 1776 at Golant, Cornwall, England.² She was the daughter of John Rashleigh and Katherine Battie.^1,3 She married William Williams, son of Robert Williams and Jane Chassereau, on 30 November 1797.⁴ She died on 18 April 1855 at age 78.⁴
     From 30 November 1797, her married name became Williams.

     John Rashleigh was born on 20 June 1742.² He is the son of Jonathan Rashleigh and Mary Clayton.³ He married Katherine Battie, daughter of Dr. William Battie and Anne Goode, on 1 April 1771 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.⁴ He died on 17 May 1803 at age 60.²
     He was 1st Commissioner and Receiver of Greenwich Hospital.² He lived at Penquite House, Golant, Cornwall, England^G.¹

     Sir John Colman Rashleigh, 1st Bt. was born on 23 November 1772.² He is the son of John Rashleigh and Katherine Battie.^1,3 He was baptised on 9 January 1773 at Golant, Cornwall, England.⁴ He married, firstly, Harriet Williams, daughter of Robert Williams and Jane Chassereau, on 24 May 1808.³ He married, secondly, Martha Gould, daughter of John Gould, on 17 October 1833.² He died on 4 August 1847 at age 74.²
     He was created 1st Baronet Rashleigh, of Prideaux, co. Cornwall [U.K.] on 30 September 1831.³

     Rev. Sir Henry Williams Baker, 3rd Bt. was born on 27 May 1821 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Sir Henry Loraine Baker, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Anne Williams.¹ He died on 12 February 1877 at age 55 at Horkeley House, Monkland, Herefordshire, England^G, unmarried.¹
     He was a Curate between 1842 and 1851 at Great Horkesley, Essex, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1844 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1847 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Vicar between 1851 and 1877 at Monkland, Herefordshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Baker, of Dunstable House, Richmond, Surrey [G.B., 1796] on 2 November 1859.¹ He wrote the book Hymns Ancient and Modern, published 1860, which he originated, and authored several of the hymns therein.¹
