Sir Ernest Frederic Goodhart, 2nd Bt. was born on 12 August 1880.2 He was the son of Sir James Frederic Goodhart, 1st Bt. and Emma Sandford Bennett.2 He married Frances Evelyn Armstrong, daughter of Montagu Fullerton Armstrong and Florence Angelica Sophia Proby, on 19 December 1906.1 He died on 13 January 1961 at age 80.2
He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1902 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1904 entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Goodhart, of St. Marylebone and Holtye Place, Sussex [U.K., 1911] on 28 May 1916.2 He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1935 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2

Charles Nesbitt Frederick Armstrong was born on 25 January 1858.1 He was the son of Sir Andrew Armstrong, 1st Bt. and Frances Fullerton.1 He married Helen Porter Mitchell, daughter of David Mitchell and Isabella Ann Dow, on 22 December 1882.1 He and Helen Porter Mitchell were divorced in 1900.1 He died in November 1948 at age 90 at Oak Bay, Victoria, British Columbia, CanadaG.2,3

Helen Porter Mitchell was born on 19 May 1861 at Richmond, Victoria, Australia.2 She was the daughter of David Mitchell and Isabella Ann Dow.1,2 She married Charles Nesbitt Frederick Armstrong, son of Sir Andrew Armstrong, 1st Bt. and Frances Fullerton, on 22 December 1882.1 She and Charles Nesbitt Frederick Armstrong were divorced in 1900.1 She died on 23 February 1931 at age 69.1
Helen Porter Mitchell used the stage-name of Nellie Melba.2 From 22 December 1882, her married name became Armstrong.1 She was an opera singer.1 She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1918.1 She was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1927.1
