Walter Lockett Agnew was born on 4 May 1898.1 He was the son of Charles Leonard Agnew and Alice Rowley Nelson.1 He married Rosamund Mildred Robertson, daughter of Field Marshal Sir William Robert Robertson, 1st Bt. and Mildred Adelaide Palin, on 10 May 1922.1 He died on 12 July 1942 at age 44.1

Rosamund Mildred Robertson was born on 21 September 1901.2 She was the daughter of Field Marshal Sir William Robert Robertson, 1st Bt. and Mildred Adelaide Palin.1,2 She married Lt.-Cdr. Walter Lockett Agnew, son of Charles Leonard Agnew and Alice Rowley Nelson, on 10 May 1922.1 She died on 15 July 1961 at age 59.1

Field Marshal Sir William Robert Robertson, 1st Bt. was born on 29 January 1860.2 He was the son of Thomas Charles Robertson and Ann Dexter Beet.2 He married Mildred Adelaide Palin, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Charles Thomas Palin, on 8 September 1894.2 He died on 12 February 1933 at age 73.2
