Sir Robert Affleck, 7th Bt. was born on 4 March 1852 at St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel IslandsG.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Affleck, 6th Bt. and Maria Emily Burton.1 He married Julia Georgina Prince, daughter of John Sampson Prince and Georgina Janet Barrow, on 7 March 1886 at St. Stephen's, Gloucester Road, London, EnglandG.1 He and Julia Georgina Prince were divorced on 9 February 1915.2 He died on 4 December 1919 at age 67.2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 9 June 1871.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Affleck, of Dalham Hall, co. Suffolk [G.B., 1782] on 9 October 1882.1 He sold Dalham Hall, for £107,000 in 1900 to Cecil Rhodes.1 In 1903 he was in Bankruptcy Court.3
