     Sir William Compton, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir William Compton, 2nd Bt. and Jane Hyde.2 He married unknown Holder.2 He died on 3 May 1758.2
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Compton, of Hartbury, co. Gloucester [E., 1686] on 5 June 1731.2

     Maria Mercedes de Laski was born circa 1873.1 She was the daughter of Alexander de Laski and Joaquina de Souza Liboa, Marquesa de Souza Liboa.1 She married Henry Aloysius Scrope, son of Simon Thomas Scrope and Emily Jane Berkeley, on 26 July 1899 at Marylebone, London, EnglandG.2,1 She died on 8 April 1963.1
     From 26 July 1899, her married name became Scrope.1

     Sir Bernard Nathaniel Waley-Cohen, 1st Bt. was born on 29 May 1914.2 He was the son of Sir Robert Waley Cohen and Alice Violet Beddington.2,3 He married Hon. Joyce Constance Ina Nathan, daughter of Harry Louis Nathan, 1st Baron Nathan and Eleanor Joan Clara Stettauer, on 21 December 1943.2 He died on 3 July 1991 at age 77.3
     He was given the name of Bernard Nathaniel Waley Cohen at birth.2 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.2 He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.2 He was Principal Minister of Fuel and Power between 1940 and 1947.2 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1950 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 In 1950 his name was legally changed to Bernard Nathaniel Waley-Cohen by Deed Poll.2 He was director of Burston & Texas Commerce Bank in 1953.2 He was chairman of Simo Properties Ltd in 1955.2 He held the office of Sheriff of London between 1955 and 1956.2 He was appointed Knight in 1957.2 He held the office of Lord Mayor of London between 1960 and 1961.2 He was created 1st Baronet Waley-Cohen, of Honeymead, co. Somerset [U.K.] on 11 December 1961.1
