     Lady Anne Egerton was born between 1704 and 1709. She was the daughter of Scroop Egerton, 1st Duke of Bridgwater and Lady Elizabeth Churchill.¹ She married, firstly, Wriothesley Russell, 3rd Duke of Bedford, son of Wriothesley Russell, 2nd Duke of Bedford and Elizabeth Howland, on 22 April 1725 at Ashbridge, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ She married, secondly, William Villiers, 3rd Earl of the Island of Jersey, son of William Villiers, 2nd Earl of the Island of Jersey and Judith Herne, on 23 June 1733 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ She died on 16 June 1762.¹ She was buried on 22 June 1762 at Middleton Stoney, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹
     After her marriage, Lady Anne Egerton was styled as Duchess of Bedford on 22 April 1725. From 22 April 1725, her married name became Russell. After her marriage, Lady Anne Egerton was styled as Countess of the Island of Jersey on 23 June 1733. From 23 June 1733, her married name became Villiers.

     John Egerton, 3rd Earl of Bridgwater was born on 9 November 1646.¹ He was the son of John Egerton, 2nd Earl of Bridgwater and Lady Elizabeth Cavendish.^1,3 He married, firstly, Lady Elizabeth Cranfield, daughter of James Cranfield, 2nd Earl of Middlesex and Lady Anne Bourchier, on 17 November 1664 at Chapel of Bridgwater House, Barbican, London, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Jane Powlett, daughter of Charles Powlett, 1st Duke of Bolton and Mary le Scrope, on 2 April 1673 at Charter House Chapel, London, England^G.¹ He died on 19 March 1700/1 at age 54 at St. James's, London, England^G.¹ He was buried on 31 March 1701 at Little Gaddesden, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in April 1701.¹

     Francis Egerton, 3rd Duke of Bridgwater was born on 21 May 1736.¹ He was the son of Scroop Egerton, 1st Duke of Bridgwater and Lady Rachael Russell.¹ He and Elizabeth Gunning, Baroness Hamilton of Hameldon were engaged circa 1759.² He died on 8 March 1803 at age 66 at Cleveland Row, St. James's, London, England^G, from influenza, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 16 March 1803 at Little Gaddesden, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in 1803.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Brackley [E., 1616] on 26 February 1747/48.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron of Ellesmere, co.      On his death, his Dukedom and Marquessate became extinct.¹ He was known as the 'father of British inland navigation.' In 1762-1772 he constructed, after the plans of the celebrated Brindley, the earliest canal in England, 42 miles long, uniting Worsley with Manchester and Runcorn on the Mersey above Liverpool.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.³
     

     Hon. William Frederick Wyndham was born on 6 April 1763.¹ He was the son of Charles Wyndham, 2nd Earl of Egremont and Hon. Alicia Maria Carpenter.² He married, secondly, Julia de Smorzewska, Countess de Spyterki.¹ He married, firstly, Frances Mary Harford, daughter of Frederick Calvert, 6th Baron Baltimore and Hester Whelan, on 21 July 1784.¹ He died on 11 February 1828 at age 64.¹

     Richard Ladislas Scrope was born on 22 August 1901.³ He was the son of Henry Aloysius Scrope and Maria Mercedes de Laski.⁴ He married Lady Jane Mary Egerton, daughter of John Francis Granville Scrope Egerton, 4th Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Violet Lambton, on 7 February 1934.¹ He died on 13 February 1990 at age 88.³

     Hilda Margaret Curteis was born in 1875 at Lichfield, Staffordshire, England.² She was the daughter of Reverend Canon George Herbert Curteis and Elizabeth Anna Ball.² She married Major Hon. Francis William George Egerton, son of Francis Charles Granville Egerton, 3rd Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Katherine Louisa Phipps, on 2 November 1897.¹ She died on 22 December 1958.¹
     Her married name became Egerton.

     Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 10th Duke of Richmond was born on 19 September 1929.¹ He was the son of Frederick Charles Gordon-Lennox, 9th Duke of Richmond and Elizabeth Grace Hudson.¹ He married Susan Monica Grenville-Grey, daughter of Colonel Cecil Everard Montague Grenville-Grey and Louisa Monica Morrison-Bell, on 26 May 1951.¹ He died on 1 September 2017 at age 87 at Goodwood, Chichester, Sussex, England^G.³

     Her married name became Gordon-Lennox. After her marriage, Elizabeth Grace Hudson was styled as Duchess of Richmond and Gordon on 7 May 1935.
