Mary Gilbert was the daughter of Reverend Edmund Gilbert.1 She married Lt.-Col. Lord Robert Kerr, son of General William John Kerr, 5th Marquess of Lothian and Elizabeth Fortescue, on 14 June 1806.1 She died on 27 November 1861.1

Captain William Walter Raleigh Kerr was born on 8 February 1863.1 He was the son of William Walter Raleigh Kerr and Mary Rouet Wilson.1 He married Annabel Jarves, daughter of Hon. James Jackson Jarves, on 22 September 1888.1 He died on 22 August 1942 at age 79.1
