     Perdita Rosemary Charteris was born on 11 September 1955.² She is the daughter of Captain Hugo Francis Guy Charteris and Virginia Mary Forbes Adam.^1,2 She married Jeremy Rupert Beckett, son of Sir Martyn Gervase Beckett, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Priscilla Léonie Helen Brett, on 29 July 1978.¹
     From 29 July 1978, her married name became Beckett.¹

     Major Walter Francis David Long, 2nd Viscount Long was born on 14 September 1911.¹ He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Walter Long and Hon. Sibell Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone.¹ He married Frances Laura Charteris, daughter of Captain Hon. He married, secondly, Frances Laura Charteris, daughter of Captain Hon. Guy Lawrence Charteris and Frances Lucy Tennant, on 13 June 1960.⁴ He died on 20 December 1969 at age 43.⁴
     He was given the name of Antoine Karslake at birth.² In 1927 his name was legally changed to Michael Temple Canfield.² He was adopted by an unknown person in 1927.²

     Mary Rose Charteris was born on 10 February 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Hon. Guy Lawrence Charteris and Frances Lucy Tennant.^1,2 She married, firstly, Captain Roderic Miles Doughty Thesiger, son of Hon. Wilfred Gilbert Thesiger and Kathleen Mary Vigors, on 21 September 1940.² She and Captain Roderic Miles Doughty Thesiger were divorced in 1946.² She married, secondly, Nigel Francis Egerton Grey, son of Egerton Spencer Grey and Ethel Harriet Wigan, on 15 December 1949.² She died on 21 December 1962 at age 43.²
     From 21 September 1940, her married name became Thesiger. From 15 December 1949, her married name became Grey.

     Captain Roderic Miles Doughty Thesiger was born on 8 November 1915.¹ He was the son of Hon. Wilfred Gilbert Thesiger and Kathleen Mary Vigors.² He married, firstly, Mary Rose Charteris, daughter of Captain Hon. Guy Lawrence Charteris and Frances Lucy Tennant, on 21 September 1940.¹ He married, secondly, Ursula Joan Whitworth, daughter of Aymer William Whitworth and Alice Lucy Patience Hervey, on 10 January 1946.¹ He and Mary Rose Charteris were divorced in 1946.¹ He died on 5 March 2005 at age 89 at Hereford Hospital, Hereford, Herefordshire, England^G.³

     Nigel Francis Egerton Grey was born on 21 May 1891.¹ He was the son of Egerton Spencer Grey and Ethel Harriet Wigan.² He married, firstly, Eileen Sybil Lyttelton Holt, daughter of Francis Ludlow Holt, in 1921.¹ He and Eileen Sybil Lyttelton Holt were divorced in 1949.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Rose Charteris, daughter of Captain Hon. Guy Lawrence Charteris and Frances Lucy Tennant, on 15 December 1949.¹ He married, thirdly, Marion Tennant-Park, daughter of Commander Robert Tennant-Park, in 1970.¹ He died in 1974.¹
