     Sir William de St. Loe was born in 1518.1 He married, firstly, Jane Baynton, daughter of Sir Edward Baynton.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Hardwicke, daughter of John Hardwicke, circa 27 August 1559.1 He died in 1565.1
     He held the office of Captain of the Guard to Queen Elizabeth.

     Mary St. Leger was the daughter of Sir Anthony St. Leger and Bridget Mayney.1 She married Robert Sutton, 1st Baron Lexinton of Aram, son of Sir William Sutton and Susan Cony, on 21 February 1660/61 at St. James', Clerkenwell, London, EnglandG.2 She died on 3 September 1669 at Paris, FranceG, from a fever.1
     From 21 February 1660/61, her married name became Sutton.2
