     Colonel Almeric George Spencer was born on 16 October 1841.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. William Henry Spencer and Elizabeth Rose Thornhill.¹ He married Alice Isabel Fraser, daughter of Colonel T. G. Fraser, on 11 August 1869.¹ He married Ada Downing, daughter of Henry Downing, in 1914.¹ He died on 5 September 1929 at age 87.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel and commanding officer in the 33rd Regimental District and Essex Regiment.¹

     Alice Isabel Fraser was the daughter of Colonel T. G. Fraser.¹ She married Colonel Almeric George Spencer, son of Rev. Hon. William Henry Spencer and Elizabeth Rose Thornhill, on 11 August 1869.¹ She died on 23 May 1913.¹
     From 11 August 1869, her married name became Spencer.

     Ada Downing was the daughter of Henry Downing.¹ She married Colonel Almeric George Spencer, son of Rev. Hon. William Henry Spencer and Elizabeth Rose Thornhill, in 1914.¹ She died on 8 December 1929.¹
