     Sir George Francis Fleetwood Cradock-Hartopp, 8th Bt. was born on 20 July 1870.² He was the son of Sir John William Cradock-Hartopp, 4th Bt. and Charlotte Frances Howard.² He married Ethel Caroline Jane Wellesley, daughter of Colonel William Henry Charles Wellesley and Jane Malet Hayden, on 28 July 1909.¹ He died on 5 September 1949 at age 79, without issue.²
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Cradock-Hartopp, of Freathby, co. Leicester [G.B., 1796] on 26 February 1937.²

     Winifred Charlotte Jane Wellesley was the daughter of Colonel William Henry Charles Wellesley and Jane Malet Hayden.² She married Lt.-Col. Harold Platt Sykes, son of Thomas Hardcastle Sykes, on 3 February 1903.¹ She died on 21 April 1955.¹

     Lt.-Col. Harold Platt Sykes was the son of Thomas Hardcastle Sykes.² He married Winifred Charlotte Jane Wellesley, daughter of Colonel William Henry Charles Wellesley and Jane Malet Hayden, on 3 February 1903.¹ He died on 13 February 1942.¹
     He lived at Longford Hall, Newport, Shropshire, England^G.³ He lived at Beckbury Hall, Shifnal, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Thomas Hardcastle Sykes lived at Cringle House, Cheadle, Cheshire, England^G.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)³

     Admiral Sir George Greville Wellesley was born on 2 August 1814.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. Gerald Valerian Wellesley and Lady Emily Maud Cadogan.² He married Elizabeth Doughty Lukin, daughter of Robert Lukin, on 25 October 1853.¹ He died on 6 April 1901 at age 86.¹
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Officer in 1834 in the Royal Navy.¹ He held the office of Superintendant of Portsmouth Dockyard between 1865 and 1869.¹ He was Commander-in-Chief of the North American Station in 1869.¹ He was Commanding Officer of the Channel Squadron in 1870.¹ He gained the rank of Admiral in 1875.¹ He held the office of First Sea Lord of the Admiralty between 1877 and 1879.¹

     Elizabeth Doughty Lukin was the daughter of Robert Lukin.² She married Admiral Sir George Greville Wellesley, son of Rev. Hon. Gerald Valerian Wellesley and Lady Emily Maud Cadogan, on 25 October 1853.¹ She died on 9 January 1906.¹

     Robert Lukin is the son of Very Rev. George William Lukin and Susan Katherine Doughty.

     Olivia Georgiana Wellesley was born on 29 September 1857.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Sir George Greville Wellesley and Elizabeth Doughty Lukin.² She married Lt.-Col. Sir Henry Trotter, son of Alexander Trotter and Jacqueline Elizabeth Otter, on 15 October 1890.¹ She died on 28 February 1956 at age 98.¹
     She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)¹ She was awarded the Médaille de la Reine Elisabeth of Belgium.¹

     Charles Montagu, 1st and last Earl of Halifax was born on 16 April 1661 at Horton, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Hon. George Montagu and Elizabeth Irby.¹ He married Anne Yelverton, daughter of Sir Christopher Yelverton, 1st Bt. and Anne Twysden, circa 12 May 1688.³ He died on 19 May 1715 at age 54, from inflammation of the bowels, without issue.¹

York [England] on 13 December 1700, with a special remainder to his nephew, George.³ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1714.³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1714.³ He held the office of First Lord of the Treasury from 1714 to 1715.³ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey from 1714 to 1715.³ He was created 1st Earl of Halifax [England] on 19 October 1714.¹ He was created 1st Viscount Sunbury, co. Middlesex [England] on 19 October 1714.³

     Emily Ann Charlotte Wellesley was the daughter of Rev. Hon. Gerald Valerian Wellesley and Lady Emily Maud Cadogan.² She married Reverend Hon. Robert Liddell, son of Thomas Henry Liddell, 1st Baron Ravensworth and Maria Susannah Simpson, on 26 January 1836.¹ She died on 22 October 1876.³
     From 26 January 1836, her married name became Liddell.
