     Augusta Warburton was born in 1854. She was the daughter of Major George Drought Warburton and Hon. Elizabeth Augusta Bateman-Hanbury.1,2 She married Lord Edward Spencer-Churchill, son of George Spencer-Churchill, 6th Duke of Marlborough and Jane Francis Clinton Stewart, on 15 September 1874.1 She died on 1 September 1941, died as a result of a car crash.1
     From 15 September 1874, her married name became Spencer-Churchill. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.1 She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1935.1

     Major George Drought Warburton was born in 1816 at County Wicklow, IrelandG.2 He was the son of Major George Warburton and Anne Maria Acton.2 He married Hon. Elizabeth Augusta Bateman-Hanbury, daughter of William Bateman-Hanbury, 1st Baron Bateman of Shobdon and Elizabeth Chichester, on 1 June 1853 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 28 March 1857 at Henley House, Frant, Sussex, EnglandG, shot himself in the head, while suffering from indigestion.2 He was buried at Iffley, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.2 He was commissioned in June 1833, in the service of the Royal Artillery.2 He wrote the book Hochelaga; or England in the New World, published 1846, anonymously.2 He wrote the book The Conquest of Canada, published 1850, anonymously.2 He retired from the military in November 1854, with the rank of Major, late of the Royal Artillery.1,2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2

     Hon. Elizabeth Augusta Bateman-Hanbury was born on 16 March 1832.1 She was the daughter of William Bateman-Hanbury, 1st Baron Bateman of Shobdon and Elizabeth Chichester.2 She married, firstly, Major George Drought Warburton, son of Major George Warburton and Anne Maria Acton, on 1 June 1853 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.3 She married, secondly, George Rushout, 3rd Baron Northwick of Northwick Park, son of Reverend Hon. George Rushout-Bowles and Lady Caroline Stewart, on 15 April 1869.2 She died on 29 May 1912 at age 80.1
     From 1 June 1853, her married name became Warburton.1 After her marriage, Hon. Elizabeth Augusta Bateman-Hanbury was styled as Baroness Northwick of Northwick Park on 15 April 1869. From 15 April 1869, her married name became Rushout.2

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1898 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1899 in the Grenadier Guards.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, and was wounded twice. He was awarded the Croix de Guerre circa 1918 avec palmes, French.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Worcestershire in 1924.1

     Weetman Harold Miller Pearson, 2nd Viscount Cowdray was born on 18 April 1882.2 He was the son of Weetman Dickinson Pearson, 1st Viscount Cowdray and Annie Cass.3 He married Agnes Beryl Spencer-Churchill, daughter of Lord Edward Spencer-Churchill and Augusta Warburton, on 14 November 1905.4 He died on 5 October 1933 at age 51.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Eye between 1906 and 1918.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Sussex Yeomanry.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Cowdray, of Cowdray, co.
