Lt.-Col. Sir Horace George Proctor-Beauchamp, 6th Bt.1

     Lt.-Col. Sir Horace George Proctor-Beauchamp, 6th Bt. was born on 3 November 1856.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas William Brograve Proctor-Beauchamp, 4th Bt. and Hon. Catherine Esther Waldegrave. He married Florence Leavitt, daughter of Henry M. Leavitt, on 15 November 1892.1 He and Florence Leavitt were divorced in 1915.1 He died on 12 August 1915 at age 58 at Suvla Bay, Turkey, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Suakin Campaign in 1885.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign in 1888.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Beauchamp-Proctor, of Langley Park, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1745] on 10 November 1912. He fought in the First World War.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 15th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment.1 He was Brevet Colonel of the 20th Hussars.1 He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign.1
