     Hon. Constance Mary Barrington was born on 16 January 1847. She was the daughter of George William Barrington, 7th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Isabel Elizabeth Morritt.1 She married Lawrence Hesketh Palk, 2nd Baron Haldon, son of Lawrence Palk, 1st Baron Haldon and Maria Harriett Hesketh, on 7 October 1868.1
     Her married name became Palk. After her marriage, Hon. Constance Mary Barrington was styled as Baroness Haldon on 22 March 1883.

     Lawrence Hesketh Palk, 2nd Baron Haldon was born on 6 September 1846.1 He was the son of Lawrence Palk, 1st Baron Haldon and Maria Harriett Hesketh.2 He married Hon. Constance Mary Barrington, daughter of George William Barrington, 7th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Isabel Elizabeth Morritt, on 7 October 1868.1 He died on 31 December 1903 at age 57.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Scots Fusilier Guards.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal 1st Devons.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Palk, of Haldon House, in Haldon, co. Devon [G.B., 1782] on 22 March 1883.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Haldon, of Haldon, co. Devon [U.K., 1880] on 22 March 1883.1 In 1891 he was declared bankrupt.1

     Lawrence William Palk, 3rd Baron Haldon was born on 13 July 1869.1 He was the son of Lawrence Hesketh Palk, 2nd Baron Haldon and Hon. Constance Mary Barrington.1 He married, firstly, Lidiana Amalia Creszencia Maichle, daughter of Colonel Jacob William Maichle, on 10 February 1893.1 He married, secondly, Edith Castle Biggs, daughter of William Ball Biggs, on 25 January 1929.1 He died on 12 January 1933 at age 63.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Haldon, of Haldon, co. Devon [U.K., 1880] on 31 December 1903.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Palk, of Haldon House, in Haldon, co. Devon [G.B., 1782] on 31 December 1903.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 13th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.1

     Lidiana Amalia Creszencia Maichle was the daughter of Colonel Jacob William Maichle.1 She married, firstly, D. F. Drew before 1893.1 She married, secondly, Lawrence William Palk, 3rd Baron Haldon, son of Lawrence Hesketh Palk, 2nd Baron Haldon and Hon. Constance Mary Barrington, on 10 February 1893.1 She died on 26 November 1928.1
     From before 1893, her married name became Drew.1 Her married name became Palk. After her marriage, Lidiana Amalia Creszencia Maichle was styled as Baroness Haldon on 31 December 1903.

Brightman before 1929.1 She married, secondly, Lawrence William Palk, 3rd Baron Haldon, son of Lawrence Hesketh Palk, 2nd Baron Haldon and Hon. Constance Mary Barrington, on 25 January 1929.1 She died on 1 May 1930.1
     From before 1929, her married name became Brightman.1 From 25 March 1929, her married name became Palk. After her marriage, Edith Castle Biggs was styled as Baroness Haldon on 25 March 1929.

     Hon. Lawrence Charles Walter Palk was born on 28 September 1870.1 He was the son of Lawrence Hesketh Palk, 2nd Baron Haldon and Hon. Constance Mary Barrington.1 He died on 1 July 1916 at age 45, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major and Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel in the Hampshire Regiment.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
