     Elizabeth Vyner was the daughter of Commander Clare George Vyner and Lady Doris Hilda Gordon-Lennox.¹ She died on 3 June 1942, while on active service, unmarried.

     Edric Douglas-Pennant was born on 19 February 1878.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Archibald Charles Henry Douglas-Pennant and Hon. Harriet Ella Gifford.² He died on 12 August 1887 at age 9.¹

     Joan Catherine Trotter was born on 28 June 1903.² She was the daughter of Colonel Algernon Richard Trotter, 12th of Mortonhall and 3rd of Charterhall and Lady Edith Mary Montgomerie.^1,3 She married Lt.-Col. Francis Edward Salvin Bowlby, son of Arthur Salvin Bowlby and Catherine Mary Bowlby Bond, on 6 November 1930.¹ She died on 4 July 1958 at age 55.¹
     Her married name became Bowlby.

     Sara Norina Marie Stewart-Clark was born on 25 April 1932.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Stewart Stewart-Clark, 2nd Bt. and Jane Pamela Clarke.^2,3 She married Colonel Patrick Thomas Salvin Bowlby, son of Lt.-Col. Francis Edward Salvin Bowlby and Joan Catherine Trotter, on 23 September 1961.¹
     Sara Norina Marie Stewart-Clark usually went by her middle name of Norina.¹ From 23 September 1961, her married name became Bowlby.² She lived in 2003 at Caythorpe Hall, Grantham, Lincolnshire, England.¹

     Joan Fisher-Rowe was born on 1 October 1907. She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert Mayow Fisher-Rowe and Maud Seymour. She married Lt.-Col. Thomas Trotter, son of Colonel Algernon Richard Trotter, 12th of Mortonhall and 3rd of Charterhall and Lady Edith Mary Montgomerie, on 18 September 1934.¹
     Her married name became Trotter.

     Colonel John Hardy gained the rank of Colonel in the 9th Lancers.¹

     Hon. Evelyn Loch was born on 29 July 1876.² She was the daughter of Henry Brougham Loch, 1st Baron Loch and Elizabeth Villiers.^1,2 She married Major Lord Bernard Charles Gordon-Lennox, son of Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 7th Duke of Richmond and Amy Mary Ricardo, on 25 July 1907.¹ She died on 18 June 1944 at age 67, killed by enemy action.¹
     Her married name became Gordon-Lennox.

     Henry Brougham Loch, 1st Baron Loch was born on 23 May 1827.² He was the son of James Loch and Ann Orr.¹ He married Elizabeth Villiers, daughter of Hon. Edward Ernest Villiers and Hon. Elizabeth Charlotte Liddell, on 7 May 1862.³ He died on 20 June 1900 at age 73.²
     He gained the rank of officer between 1840 and 1842 in the Royal Navy.² He gained the rank of officer in 1844 in the 3rd Bengal Cavalry.² He was Aide-de-Camp to Lord Gough, Commander-in-Chief of India in 1846.² He gained the rank of Adjutant in 1850 in the Skinner's Horse.² He fought in the Crimean War in 1854.² He was attached to the Earl of Elgin's special emabssies to China and Japan, and was taken prisoner by teh Chinese in 1860, and then brought the Treaty of Tientsin to England between 1857 and 1860.² He was Private Secretary to Sir George Grey, Home Secretary in 1861.² He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of the Isle of Man between 1863 and 1882.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)³ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)³ He was Commissioner of H.M.'s Woods, Forests and Land REvenue between 1882 and 1884.² He held the office of Governor of Victoria between 1884 and 1889.² He held the office of Governor of the Cape of Good Hope between 1889 and 1895.² He held the office of High Commissioner of the South Africa between 1889 and 1895.² He was created 1st Baron Loch, of Drylaw, Midlothian [U.K.] on 18 July 1895.² He raised Loch's Horse for service in the Boer War.⁴

     Elizabeth Villiers was the daughter of Hon. Edward Ernest Villiers and Hon. Elizabeth Charlotte Liddell.² She married Henry Brougham Loch, 1st Baron Loch, son of James Loch and Ann Orr, on 7 May 1862.¹ She died on 12 March 1938.¹
     Her married name became Loch. After her marriage, Elizabeth Villiers was styled as Baroness Loch on 18 July 1895. She was appointed Lady of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.G.St.J.)¹

     Algernon Douglas-Pennant was born on 19 November 1872.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Archibald Charles Henry Douglas-Pennant and Hon. Harriet Ella Gifford.² He married Grace Talcott Morgan, daughter of Richard Talcott Morgan, on 16 April 1896.¹ He died on 30 April 1925 at age 52.¹
