     Peter Andrew Söderling is the son of Peter Andrew Söderling.¹ He married Elizabeth Alice Jessie Muriel Ritchie, daughter of Sir James William Ritchie, 1st Bt. and Edna Muriel Emerton, on 16 December 1943.¹ He and Elizabeth Alice Jessie Muriel Ritchie were divorced in 1954.¹
     He gained the rank of Master-Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force.¹
