     Hermione Ponsonby was born on 23 January 1945.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Robert Martin Dominic Ponsonby and Dorothy Edith Jane Lane.¹ She married, firstly, J. C. Evans before 1975.² She married, secondly, Charles George Townshend, 8th Marquess Townshend of Raynham, son of George John Patrick Dominic Townshend, 7th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Elizabeth Pamela Audrey Luby, on 9 October 1975.¹ She died in 1985, in a motor accident.¹
     From before 1975, her married name became Evans.² From 9 October 1975, her married name became Townshend.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Frederick William Ponsonby was born on 30 April 1917.¹ He was the son of Sir George Arthur Ponsonby and Julia Winifred Maitland Oldfield.¹ He died on 20 October 1950 at age 33 at Setuban, Portugal^G, accidentally drowned.¹
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. William Hutton-Attenborough was born circa 1919.² He was the son of Edwin Augustus Hutton-Attenborough.¹ He married Maud Elisabeth Ponsonby, daughter of Sir George Arthur Ponsonby and Elisa Broch, on 24 August 1957.¹ He died on 25 September 2006 at Arden Valley, Bearley, England.^3,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹
