     Frederick Thorpe Mappin was born on 3 April 1886.¹ He was the son of Sir Samuel Wilson Mappin, 5th Bt. and Laura Morton.¹ He married Ethel Barrett, daughter of R. J. Barrett, on 14 August 1912.¹ He died on 17 July 1916 at age 30 at U.S.A., killed in an aeroplane accident.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Ethel Barrett is the daughter of R. J. Barrett.¹ She married Frederick Thorpe Mappin, son of Sir Samuel Wilson Mappin, 5th Bt. and Laura Morton, on 14 August 1912.¹

     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Gloucestershire Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919.¹ He graduated from Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1918 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Mary Patricia Grace Kenyon is the daughter of Charles Richard Kenyon.¹ She married, firstly, Captain George Gregory Hills.¹ She married, secondly, William Hubert Mappin, son of Sir Samuel Wilson Mappin, 5th Bt. and Laura Morton, on 6 July 1956.¹
     Her married name became Hills.¹ From 6 July 1956, her married name became Mappin.¹

     Captain George Gregory Hills married Mary Patricia Grace Kenyon, daughter of Charles Richard Kenyon.¹
     He lived at Ranger Lodge, Glandyff, Cardiganshire, Wales.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Mary Crossley Mappin was born on 24 March 1883.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Samuel Wilson Mappin, 5th Bt. and Laura Morton.¹

     Ruby Thomson is the daughter of George Lamberton Thomson.¹ She married Sir Frank Crossley Mappin, 6th Bt., son of Sir Samuel Wilson Mappin, 5th Bt. and Laura Morton, on 20 October 1909.¹
