     Laura Harriet Armytage was born on 7 September 1823 at Tickhill, Yorkshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of John Armytage and Mary Assheton.¹ She married Reverend Charles William Holbech, son of William Holbech and Lucy Bowles, in 1843 at Halifax, Yorkshire, England.¹ She died on 23 April 1903 at age 79 at Farnborough, Warwickshire, England.¹ She was buried at St. Botolph's Churchyard, Farnborough, Warwickshire, England.¹
     From 1843, her married name became Holbech.¹
