     Lady Heather Mary Margaret Legge was born on 12 August 1925.1 She was the daughter of Humphrey Legge, 8th Earl of Dartmouth and Roma Ernestine Horlick.1 She married Rognvald Richard Farrer Herschell, 3rd Baron Herschell of the City of Durban, son of Richard Farrer Herschell, 2nd Baron Herschell of the City of Durban and Annie Vera Violet Nicolson, on 1 May 1948.1 She died in 2011.2
     From 1 May 1948, her married name became Herschell. After her marriage, Lady Heather Mary Margaret Legge was styled as Baroness Herschell of the City of Durban on 1 May 1948. She lived in 2003 at Westfield House, Ardington, Wantage, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1

     Edward Cardwell, 1st and last Viscount Cardwell of Ellerbeck was born on 24 July 1813.1 He was the son of John Cardwell and Elizabeth Birley.1 He married Annie Parker, daughter of Charles Stuart Parker, on 14 August 1848.1 He died on 15 February 1886 at age 72 at Villa Como, Torquay, Devon, EnglandG.1 He was buried on 23 February 1886 at Highgate Cemetery, London, EnglandG.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 2 April 1886, at £56,931.2

Frederick George Lindley Meynell and Lady Mary Susan Félicie Lindsay.1,2 He married Lady Dorothy Legge, daughter of William Heneage Legge, 6th Earl of Dartmouth and Lady Mary Coke, on 3 October 1907.1 He died on 16 December 1941 at age 61.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in 1914 in the Royal Field Artillery (Territorial Forces.)1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1917, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in 1935.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.2 He lived at Hoar Cross, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1
