     Major Robert Francis Ruttledge was born on 11 September 1899 at Brownshill, County Carlow, Ireland.² He was the son of Thomas Henry Bruen Ruttledge and Mary Caroline Browne-Clayton.³ He married Mabel Rose Burke, daughter of William Creagh Burke and Kathleen Persse, in 1928 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.^2,4 He died on 12 January 2002 at age 102 at Greystones, County Wicklow, Ireland.²
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.² He was educated at Quetta Cadet College, India.² He fought in the Waziristan Campaign in 1919.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1919.¹ He retired from the military in 1939, with the rank of Major, late of the Poona Horse.² He lived at Cloonee, Ballinrobe, County Mayo, Ireland^G.¹

     Charles Andrew Martin Martyn-Hemphill, 6th Baron Hemphill was born on 8 October 1954.¹ He is the son of Peter Patrick Fitzroy Martyn-Hemphill, 5th Baron Hemphill and Olivia Anne Ruttledge.¹ He married Sarah J. F. Lumley, daughter of Richard Edward Walter Lumley and Josephine M. Harvey, in 1985.¹
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He graduated from St. Benet's Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a director of Morgan Grenfell Asset Management.¹ He lived in 2003 at 66 Manville Road, London, England.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Hemphill, of Rathkenny and Cashel, co. Tipperary [U.K., 1906] on 6 April 2012.²

     Alice FitzGerald was the daughter of Gerald FitzGerald, 8th Earl of Kildare.¹ She married Cahir McArt Cavanagh, Baron of Ballyane.¹ She died after 2 February 1549/50.¹
     Her married name became Cavanagh.¹

     Hon. Angela Mary Martyn-Hemphill was born on 26 January 1953.¹ She is the daughter of Peter Patrick Fitzroy Martyn-Hemphill, 5th Baron Hemphill and Olivia Anne Ruttledge.¹ She married Robert Cookson on 20 October 1982.¹
     From 20 October 1982, her married name became Cookson.¹ She lived in 2003 at Manor Farm, Upper Slaughter, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Hon. Mary Anne Martyn-Hemphill was born on 29 November 1958.¹ She is the daughter of Peter Patrick Fitzroy Martyn-Hemphill, 5th Baron Hemphill and Olivia Anne Ruttledge.¹

     Hon. Mary Hannah Augusta Hemphill was born circa 1856. She was the daughter of Charles Hare Hemphill, 1st Baron Hemphill and Augusta Mary Stanhope.¹ She married Major Edward Augustus Carter, son of Augustus Carter, on 17 June 1875.¹ She died on 20 September 1925.¹
     Her married name became Carter.

     Major Edward Augustus Carter was the son of Augustus Carter.² He married Hon. Mary Hannah Augusta Hemphill, daughter of Charles Hare Hemphill, 1st Baron Hemphill and Augusta Mary Stanhope, on 17 June 1875.² He died in 1920.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Battalion, Sherwood Foresters.¹ He lived at Theakston Hall, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

Archibald Macalpine-Downie on 27 August 1947.¹ She died in 1994.²
