     Richard Fleming Worsley-Holmes was born on 25 March 1792.1 He was the son of Reverend Sir Henry Worsley-Holmes, 8th Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Holmes.1 He died on 26 July 1814 at age 22, drowned in the Hamble.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newport between 1812 and 1814.1
