     Henrietta Jane Fearon was born in 1812 at Middlewich, Cheshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Robert Bryce Fearon and Eliza Parratt.¹ She married Lt.-Col. John Grimes on 4 February 1833 at Madras, India.¹ She died on 15 January 1883 at Swiss Cottage, Shanklin, Isle of Wight, England.¹
     From 4 February 1833, her married name became Grimes.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Grimes was born on 6 August 1807 at Nottingham Place, Westminster, London, England.¹ He married Henrietta Jane Fearon, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Robert Bryce Fearon and Eliza Parratt, on 4 February 1833 at Madras, India.¹ He died on 20 January 1978 at age 170 at Swiss Cottage, Shanklin, Isle of Wight, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Madras Army.¹

     Henry Robert Grimes was born in 1835.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Grimes and Henrietta Jane Fearon.¹ He married Edith Harriette King, daughter of Reverend Isaac King and Maria Golding Rickford, on 15 June 1861 at The Church of St. Botolph, Bradenham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He died on 19 April 1909 at Bemerton, Wiltshire, England.¹
     He was Inspector-General of Jails, Madras.¹
