     Mary Smedley married Maj.-Gen. Edward Hume Hart, son of Reverend George Vaughan Ledwich Hart and Maria Murray Hume, in 1839 at London, England.1 She died in 1842 at Bombay, India.1
     From 1839, her married name became Hart.1

     He was educated at Royal Military College, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.1 He held the office of Magistrate for County Donegal.1 He lived at Doe Castle, County Donegal, Ireland.1
