     Mary Richenda Cunningham was the daughter of Reverend John William Cunningham and Mary Calvert.¹ She married Sir James Fitzjames Stephen, 1st Bt., son of Sir James Stephen and Jane Catherine Venn, on 19 April 1855.¹ She died on 28 November 1912.²
     From 19 April 1855, her married name became Stephen.¹

     Sir James Stephen was born on 3 January 1789 at Lambeth, London, England.¹ He married Jane Catherine Venn, daughter of John Venn and Catherine King, on 22 December 1814.¹ He died on 14 September 1859 at age 70 at Koblenz, Germany.¹
     He was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 11 November 1811.¹ He was Professor of Modern Law at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He held the office of Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies between 1836 and 1847.¹

     Jane Catherine Venn was the daughter of John Venn and Catherine King.¹ She married Sir James Stephen on 22 December 1814.¹ She died in 1875.¹
     From 22 December 1814, her married name became Stephen.¹

     Sir Herbert Stephen, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 June 1857.² He was the son of Sir James Fitzjames Stephen, 1st Bt. and Mary Richenda Cunningham.¹ He married Mary Hermione Cunningham, daughter of Sir Henry Stewart Cunningham and Hon. Harriette Emily Lawrence, on 29 January 1927.² He died on 23 October 1932 at age 75, without issue.²
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.² He was educated in 1879 at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)² He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1881 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1882 with a Master of Laws (LL.M.)² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Stephen, of de Vere Gardens, London [U.K., 1891] on 11 March 1894.² He was Clerk of Assize for the Northern Circuit between 1899 and 1927.²

     James Kenneth Stephen was born on 25 February 1859.¹ He was the son of Sir James Fitzjames Stephen, 1st Bt. and Mary Richenda Cunningham.¹ He died on 3 February 1892 at age 32, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.³ He was a journalist.¹ He wrote the book Quo Musa Tendis, published 1891.¹ He wrote the book Lapsus Calami, published 1891.¹

     John Venn was born on 9 March 1759 at Clapham, London, England.¹ He was the son of Reverend Henry Venn and Eling Bishop.¹ He married, firstly, Catherine King, daughter of William King, on 22 October 1789 at Trinity Church, Hull, Yorkshire, England.¹ He married, secondly, Frances Turton, daughter of John Turton, on 25 August 1812.¹ He died on 1 July 1813 at age 54 at Clapham, London, England.¹
     He graduated from Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1781 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Rector between 1783 and 1792 at Little Dunham, Norfolk, England.¹ He graduated from Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1784 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Rector between 1792 and 1813.¹ He was co-founder of the Church Missionary Society in 1797.¹

     Florence Madeline Burr was born on 2 November 1890 at Uphill Rectory, Weston, Somerset, England.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Arthur John Burr and Florence Sarah Louisa Platt.¹ She married George Brook Knight on 7 August 1915.¹ She died in 1984 at Farnham Royal, Hampshire, England.¹
     From 7 August 1915, her married name became Knight.¹
