     George Cubitt was born on 8 January 1759.1 He was the son of Benjamin Cubitt and Elizabeth Lynn.1 He married Frances Parish, daughter of Reverend Henry Parish. He married Mary Finlay, daughter of Reverend Justice Finlay, on 21 September 1781.1 He died on 17 May 1835 at age 76.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.1 He lived at Catfield Hall, Norfolk, England.1
