     Edward Montagu Douglas was born on 31 October 1891.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Montagu William Douglas and Helen Mary Isabelle Downer.1 He married Lavinia Rosa Wood on 30 October 1937.1 He died in 1974 at Chatham, Kent, England.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Welch Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War, where he became a POW.1 He graduated with a Licentiate in Dental Surgery (L.D.S.)1 He was registered as a Royal College of Surgeons, England in 1928.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Army Dental Corps.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
