     Major Percy Charles Esdaile was born in 1882 at Cothelstone House, Taunton, Somerset, England.1 He was the son of Charles Edward Jeffries Esdaile and Marion Maxwell Sandbach.1 He married Dorothy Mary Margaret Oldfield in 1916.1 He died on 6 December 1926 at Taunton, Somerset, England.1
     He fought in the Boer War.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was injured twice and gassed.1

     From 1916, her married name became Esdaile.1

     Vice-Admiral Sir Clive Charles Carruthers Johnstone was born on 6 September 1963 at Kampala, Uganda.1 He was the son of Charles Napier Carruthers Johnstone and Patricia Mary Elmes.1 He married Alison Duguid in 1990.2 He died on 12 May 2024 at age 60.2
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.2 He was educated at Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England.2 He was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, EnglandG.2 In 2006 he commanded H.M.S. Bulwark during the evacuation of Beirut.3 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)2 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 2019.2 He retired from the military in 2020, with the rank of Vice-Admiral.2
