     Jane Parnel Bagnall-Oakeley was born in 1860.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend William Bagnall-Oakeley and Mary Ellen Bagnall.¹ She married Reverend Sydney William Ernest Gilliat, son of Richard Gilliat and Emily Sarah Clode, on 12 April 1884 at St. Mary's, Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales.² She died in 1951 at Abergavenny, Wales.²
     From 12 April 1884, her married name became Gilliat.²
