     Sir James FitzGerald Ross Mahon, 3rd Bt. was born on 3 June 1812.¹ He was the son of Sir Ross Mahon, 1st Bt. and Hon. Mary Geraldine FitzGerald.¹ He died on 11 March 1852 at age 39, unmarried.¹
     He was admitted to King's Inns in 1831 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mahon, of Castlegar, co. Galway [U.K., 1819] on 5 April 1842.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Galway.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.¹

     Sir Ross Mahon, 2nd Bt. was born on 18 July 1811.¹ He was the son of Sir Ross Mahon, 1st Bt. and Hon. Mary Geraldine FitzGerald.¹ He died on 5 April 1842 at age 30, unmarried.¹
     He was Aide-de-Camp to Earl de Grey, Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the King's Royal Rifle Corps (60th Rifles.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Mahon, of Castlegar, co. Galway [U.K., 1819] on 10 August 1835.¹

     Lt.-Col. Michael Ernest Melvill lived at The Old Manse, Symington, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹
