     Sir Michael Cobham was born on 22 February 1927.1 He was the son of Sir Alan Cobham.1 He married, firstly, June Oakes in 1954.1 He and June Oakes were divorced.1 He married, secondly, Nadine Abbott in 1973.1 He died on 13 April 2006 at age 79.1
     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1952 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was chairman of Cobham plc between 1969 and 1995.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1981.1 He was appointed Knight in 1995.1
