     Humphrey Francis Pipe-Wolferstan was born on 12 March 1874.¹ He was the son of Francis Stafford Pipe-Wolferstan and Sarah Maria Hill Belli.¹ He died on 24 January 1900 at age 25 at Zulu-Natal, South Africa, killed in action.¹
