     William Rickards Gardner was born on 16 December 1852.¹ He was the son of Stewart William Gardner and Jane Gardner Harmuzi Begum Sahiba.² He married Emma Shikoh, daughter of Wahid Shikoh Mirza Wahir ud-din Shikoh Bahadur, on 12 March 1879 at Manota, India.^1,2 He died on 24 July 1915 at age 62.¹

     Nawazish Mahal Shikoh married H.R.H. Muhammad Sulaiman Shikoh Shahzada Mirza Muhammad Sulaiman Shikoh Bahadur, son of H.M. Shah Alam II Timurid, 18th Mughal Emperor of India and H.H. Mubaraq Timurid Nawab Qudsia Begum Mubaraq Mahal Sahiba.¹
