     Jerome de Salis, 2nd Comte de Salis was born on 8 July 1709.¹ He was the son of Peter de Salis, 1st Comte de Salis and Margaretha de Salis-Soglio.¹ He married Mary Fane, daughter of Charles Fane, 1st Viscount Fane and Mary Stanhope, on 7 January 1734/35.² He died in August 1794 at age 85.¹
     He was naturalized as a British subject, by Act of Parliament on 30 March 1730.² He succeeded as the 2nd Comte de Salis [H.R.E., 1748] on 14 November 1749.

     Mary Fane was born in 1710.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Fane, 1st Viscount Fane and Mary Stanhope.² She married Jerome de Salis, 2nd Comte de Salis, son of Peter de Salis, 1st Comte de Salis and Margaretha de Salis-Soglio, on 7 January 1734/35.² She died on 31 March 1785.¹
     From 7 January 1734/35, her married name became de Salis.¹

     Charles de Salis was born on 25 July 1736.¹ He was the son of Jerome de Salis, 2nd Comte de Salis and Mary Fane.¹ He died in 1784.¹
     He was candidate for the Borough of Reading in 1760.²

     Peter de Salis, 3rd Comte de Salis was born on 28 June 1738.¹ He was the son of Jerome de Salis, 2nd Comte de Salis and Mary Fane.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth de Salis-Soglio on 4 August 1763.¹ He married, secondly, Anna de Salis-Soglio on 5 May 1765.¹ He married, thirdly, Anna de Salis-Soglio on 30 November 1769.¹ He died on 20 November 1807 at age 69.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.² In 1763 he left the British Army on the conclusion of hostilities.² He held the office of Governor of Valteline and Chiavenna, Switzerland.² He succeeded as the 3rd Comte de Salis [H.R.E., 1748] in August 1794. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Middlesex.²

     Elizabeth de Salis-Soglio was born in 1733.¹ She married Peter de Salis, 3rd Comte de Salis, son of Jerome de Salis, 2nd Comte de Salis and Mary Fane, on 4 August 1763.¹ She died on 3 August 1764.¹
     From 4 August 1763, her married name became Fane de Salis.¹ From 4 August 1763, her married name became de Salis.¹

     Anna de Salis-Soglio was born on 29 February 1744.¹ She married Peter de Salis, 3rd Comte de Salis, son of Jerome de Salis, 2nd Comte de Salis and Mary Fane, on 5 May 1765.¹ She died on 12 October 1767 at age 23.¹
     From 5 May 1765, her married name became de Salis.¹

     Anna de Salis-Soglio was born on 29 October 1749.¹ She married Peter de Salis, 3rd Comte de Salis, son of Jerome de Salis, 2nd Comte de Salis and Mary Fane, on 30 November 1769.¹ She died on 8 December 1830 at age 81.¹
     From 30 November 1769, her married name became de Salis.¹

     Reverend Henry Jerome de Salis was born on 20 August 1740.¹ He was the son of Jerome de Salis, 2nd Comte de Salis and Mary Fane.¹ He married Julia Harriet Blosset on 17 November 1775.¹ He died on 2 May 1810 at age 69.¹
     He was educated at Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He was Chaplain in Ordinary to King George III.² He was Rector at Wing, Buckinghamshire, England.² He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)² He was Rector at St. Autholin, London, England.²
