Francis Alexander Chetwode Hamilton was born on 29 March 1879.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Chetwode Hamilton and Katherine Isabella Parker.2,1 He married Ouida Mary Tryon, daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Tryon and Alice Dashwood, on 12 August 1908.3 He died on 10 October 1956 at age 77.1
