     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service between 1769 and 1772.¹ He was Judge Advocate and Paymaster of the Forces [Gujerat] in 1771.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hindon in 1780.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ludgershall in 1784.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wallingford between 1790 and 1794.¹ He wrote the book Historical Memoirs.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Wraxall, of Wraxall, Somerset [U.K.] on 21 December 1813.¹ He lived in 1816 at Wraxall House, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹
